Editorial Review for Wessel & Lieberman Booksellers – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
This antiquarian bookseller buys and sells out-of-print and hard-to-find books. The store is clean, cool and well organized, and the owners are willing to help find books. Prepare to browse for longer than you expected; read a 19th century letter or look at the first edition set of medical dictionaries from 1743. Prices start at $5 for newer tomes, but collector items can run quite a bit steeper than that.
Editorial content is independent of paid advertisers. Any expenses are paid for by Citysearch.

This is the best specialty bookstore in the area. The books are nicely kept and though definitely a specialist's store, the staff and owner's are unpretentious.
Pros: Unpretentious, interesting, serene
Cons: pricey, parking, closed Sunday
