Editorial Review for Sunset Bowl – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Sunset is clean (for a bowling alley) and plainly but attractively decked out in red, blue and green stripes. Tubby old men smoking stogies are noticeably absent. If the karaoke machine is cranking, you can hear it from the lanes; other times, '80s pop tunes are in heavy rotation on the sound system. Pitchers of beer and greasy food are both available in abundance at the snack bar.

I've bowled at Sunset Before. I don't really like it because the building itself isn't friendly or warm feeling.
Pros: Good video games, no other pro's, sunset not so good
Cons: crowded, bad parking, cold feeling

24 hour lanes with great atmosphere. Variety of leagues for everybody, great food, nice bar, and friendly service. Nice arcade for the kiddies and pro-shop w/ superior experience. For a non-smoker though, heavy smoke during league is a bit of a pain. Fans are always kept on high, but could upgrade the HVAC to make the air more breathable. Most of the time smoke is no issue, only when crowded. Also, not as tacky as other alleys in the area (fluorescent coloring minimized except on the house balls).
Pros: atmosphere, location, hours
Cons: , long lines: Fri,SatPM, >hours: rstrnt/proshp
