Ooba's Mexican Grill

We are Seattle Times Top 10 Spots. See us for grilled meats & seafoods!

  • Healthy, carb friendly fare
  • Funky restaurant atmosphere
  • Catering and delivery

Ooba's has served high-quality, healthy, carb-friendly, affordable Mexican food in a casual, funky restaurant atmosphere since 1997. From chipotle-rubbed chicken grill plates and fresh fish tacos with homemade crème sauce to hand-mixed margaritas and mohitos, all of our items are made fresh to order. If you sit at the bar, you can even hear the meat and fish sizzling right on the grill.

Our menu isn't from a specific state or region in Mexico, it is an eclectic mix of food we've carefully chosen over the years that our customers love. You can be assured that every item on the "special" menu has passed the "would we order it again" test. We have something for everyone - vegetarian entrées like wilted spinach quesadillas, low-carb plates, and even special meals for kids.

User Reviews for Ooba's Mexican Grill

Bellevue Ooba Tooba: overpriced + cheap ingredients = bad dining experience. I figured I would try their grilled vegetable burrito, assuming I would get the typical bell pepper and onion with those vegetarian black beans and minted rice, minimum. Oh no, what I got instead was steamed, NOT grilled, carrots, broccoli, yellow squash, zucchini and mushrooms. Wait a minute, this is a mexican grill, right? Not a teriyaki joint! To say the least it was completely disgusting. I picked out all the stir fry mixed vegetables and ate the beans and rice until I got frustrated and tossed the last half. Yuck. Never again.

If you work in downtown Bellevue, do yourself a favor and stop by Ooba's. Their grilled pork burritos are the best. Match it with the tangy green salsa (not the jalapenos) and you're in for a taste sensation.

Pros: Great food, central location

Cons: poor parking, best for take out
