Editorial Review for Museum of Anthropology – by Anna Roth
In Short
This imposing poured concrete structure on the University of British Columbia campus is host to one of the world's leading collections of the Northwest Coast First Nation. The bright Great Hall, just past the entrance, displays a mighty assortment of totem poles and canoes painted in Northwest Native American style. The museum's other rooms hold more than 13,000 artifacts, including pottery, tools, masks and textiles from around the world, in visible storage drawers.
