Enotria

A place where food and drink are both means and celebration.

  • Local & Italian Wines
  • Italian inspired Cuisine
  • Intimate, Casual Environment

Chef David Hahne & his partner Amber Luton invite you to enjoy Italian-inspired cuisine through our local region's bounty. Every aspect of Enotria reflects David & Amber's touch & is intended to both put you at ease & delight. From the rosy enveloping glows of the Tuscan glass pendants & the grace of Amber's welcoming smile to the sheer savory joy of David's Pheasant Ravioli in Brodo & his Grilled Lamb Chops with Sage-Walnut Pesto.

Enotria's wine & spirits mirror Chef Hahne's cuisine with offerings from Italy & the Pacific Northwest. The Aperitivo menu includes several Enotria cocktails & features only premium regional artisan liquors. Similarly, the wine list highlights a variety of Italian, Washington, & Oregon bottles & glass pours.

Enotria is meant for you. High cuisine in an intimate, casual environment; Enotria is the place of comfort, of easy elegance, of romance.

Based on other reviews we were expecting to be drooling on the tablecloth all night long at Enotria. Instead the food was average at best EXCEPT for braised pork cheek with polenta which was very good. Service was good, everyone was very nice and attentive; nice ambience - restaurant was basically closed down by 10pm, though. We had to send back gnocchi with dungeness crab (which we have never done before) for alternative dish. It seemed like every dish (except for aforementioned braised pork) sounded good but lacked the "wow" factor when actually eaten. A lot of salt and pepper to compensate for full flavor...pear, buffalo mozzarella salad sounded like it would be great, but it was one of the most bland dishes we've ever eaten. Wouldn't really recommend making the trip out from downtown for this food.

My new FAVORITE restaurant in Seattle! Wow! It's a total sensory enchantment for your mouth from beginning to end. Chef Hahne is an absolute genius with duck. I have now enjoyed three different preparations on different occasions and every one of them was unique and perfectly executed. The Apple Gallette is possibly the most perfect dessert I have ever enjoyed -- light, fresh, not too sweet or sticky. Moi! Move over, Cafe Juanita. There's a new kid in town! The menu is very creative and changes with the market -- whatever is fresh and in season takes precedence at the table. The combinations are variations on classical favorites with a focused emphasis on organic and chemical free ingredients. The Chef is very willing to accommodate allergies, so just let them know before you start ordering and the staff will help you with your special needs. I've been at 5:00 pm, when Enotria is wide open. I've also been at 7:30pm on a Friday when it was "no tables left unturned". Even with a packed house, the efficiency of service and perfection of the dishes was breath-taking. Not least of all in my opinion, they include Strega on their drink menu, along with a choice selection of other offerings. Blessings to this house... Live long and prosper!

Pros: Creativity, Organic emphasis, Sensitive to special dietary needs, Thrills the palate, Street parking

Cons: A little noisy when it's full
