Visiting Seattle for a much needed girls weekend. We both wanted to go to a dance club. We tried Havana's on Capital Hill, just too many drunk sweaty 20 year olds, oh yeah and the DJ was in a coma---BAD! We left, came back downtown, passed by Club Contour on our way to another club, never quite made it to the other one. From the moment we walked in I knew it was going to be a fun night. The Russian House music was intoxicating, lots of interesting beautiful people and the quick service from the bartender! The men were handsomely intriguing with their Russian accents. Even the obligatory drunk girl throwing up in the restroom with steadfast girlfriend standing by, just added to the ambiance. We stayed till 4am and loved it! If you want a place to dance your pretty pants off, this is it.

I only went to Contour once and it was the worst experience I ever had at a club in Seattle. The woman at the door was extremely rude. My friend's purse was stolen and the waitress couldn't care less when she asked her for help. To complete the evening, we were kicked out of the club by a very LARGE woman, who apparently was the bouncer because my friend and I stepped outside for some fresh air. We went right outside the door for fresh air and they wouldn't let us back inside because we did not have a stamp. My friend and I did not receive a stamp because we arrived before they started charging admission (before 9pm). We tried to explain this to the rude lady at the door, and then had the gigantic bouncer woman kicked us out. I do not recommend going to Contour to anyone. The only good thing about the place is that they make the drinks strong.
Pros: good drinks
Cons: rude employees

The Contour has one of the best happy hours in Seattle. The $1.95 cheeseburger and fried and $2 Driftwood Ale combination is the best deal in town. Another nice thing is their happy hour lasts from 3-8, not just the usual 3-6. Try the lamb kebabs and the mushrooms, both $1.95 ea. You can feast with a friend and have several beers for about $25. The only downside is parking is tough. We park for Mariners games near Pyramid and walk the mile or so escape the crowded high cost Pyramid. The walk is interesting and you will need it after stuffing your face for a couple hours.
Pros: cheap
Cons: parking

Love the cheap food and fun crowd. Usually meet some new people if I want to, but not if I don't. Often crowded, however, depending on where you sit you can have a private conversation. Wait staff friendly and flirty.
Pros: Cheap, Good Food, Friendly
Cons: Crowded, Loud

A friend had a great Valentines Day party here (no cover since we were a large group), and this place rocked! I dunno if it's that cool every Friday night, but I'll definitely be back to find out. Didn't try the food at all, drinks were excellent but the bartenders were a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people. Al in all a good place and I had a blast. Music was mostly hip-hop and dance which is fine, a bit of reggaeton which was EXCELLENT. Pretty average clubbing music.
Pros: Small, Music was good, Drinks were good
Cons: Too few bartenders

We went for lunch on a Tuesday around noon, and unlike many other reviewers we had no problems with the service. The is amusing, including a plaster mask of a guy sticking his tongue out. As far as food, the Contour Burger and the Tomato Honey Basil Soup are both highly recommended (the latter tastes like an excellent pasta sauce and comes with bread to dip for only $3!). The Vegetarian Panini, however, has a noticeable lack of cooking. Although they claim it's toasted, only the bread is warm. The fresh mozarella is depressingly unmelted.
Pros: Decor, Most of the food
Cons: Vegetarian Panini

Went in during happy hour on a Saturday - the place was empty with the exception of 2 people sitting at the bar. Not only did the wait staff stand around and look past us when our drinks were empty, after waiting about 10-15 min, I finally went up to the bar and ASKED for our check. Food was okay, for being only 1.95... but don't order the spanikopita... it was as bad as the service.
Pros: Ourdoor Seating, Neat interior
Cons: SERVICE

this place is great for food, drinks, dancing, music, "after hours" and dragon slayers. They all come out in full glory come the stroke of midnight er..4am. Midnight to Contour is like 4pm at a restaurant - hasn't even gotten started, because the dragon slayers dont' come to nest till after 1am...Great Happy Hour though...food is great. Outdoor seating. Great DJ/Turbo music. Come nest, get suuuuper shady, and have a great time...

Contour's Saturday night is Russian/European music night--and it Rocks! The scupltures and art displays give Contour an attractive setting while the dance music is energetic and pumps up the crowd to a fevered pitch...Not for the faint of heart! The bar staff is speedy and warm to the customer. It is sometimes a bit crowded after midnight but, come before 8 p.m. to get great and inexpensive food specials with tasty flavors. There aren't too many places like Contour for good food and fun!
Pros: Great music, Good food, Nice setting

Saturdays are FUN @ Contour, They start by showing an international movie with subtitles, and then play energetic music all night long, with DJ Igor and DJ Misha spinning hot european and russian music, Speedbump finishes off @ 2am for afterhours
Pros: Great music, atmosphere, show
