The servers are really nice and personable. There is a great variety of food, so, in my opinion, there is something to choose for everyone's taste. I would recommend lunch buffet - it is cheaper and has a greater variety of delicious salads. Dinner buffer offers a bigger variety of seafood, such as crab legs, octopus salad, cold and hot mussels, and shrimp.
Pros: Variety
Cons: Crowded

I think Todai is more than average compare to price and food selection. This all you can eat sushi and seafood buffet offers a lot of choices of food like delicious hot food and fresh sushi, and my favorite cakes. Also, udon is another favorite. If you fall in love with asian food, I recommend to go to TODAI!

This restaurant has much to offer, for which I shall list here: good service, large dining area for parties of 6 or greater, differentiated menu, etc., etc. The price is a tad bit expensive for mediocre sushi. However, in all fairness, the food is created under the paradigm of "mass quantity preparation", so don't expect it to taste as good as Kikuya's restaurant which is located a few blocks from this place. If you are a frequent patron of "all you can eat" places and you want to try, or currently enjoy Japanese cuisine, then this is the place for you!
Pros: Variety, Service
Cons: Not a true measure of Japanese Cuisine

Todai has a great selection and lots of sushi. It's all you can eat, can't beat that. A bit pricey ,but worth it.
Pros: Great selection, all you can eat
Cons: pricey

Todai is a little on the pricey side at $20-someodd dollars, but you do get all-you-can-eat. What there is to eat isn't really as horrible as some of the reviews, in my experiences there, but by no means is the food excellent either. The food is pretty good for the most part, with some things lingering on the side of average to lousy. It really can be hit-or-miss and you can get a decent meal for your buck but I think that the value is just in the all-you-can-eat part. You're sacrificing a little bit of quality in winning at quantity so it is what it is.
Pros: All-you-can-eat, some good food
Cons: Kind of pricey, food isn't great, the seating is what you would find in a mall food court

Decor is nice - everything looks pretty. But not too much tastes fantastic. I've had better sushi. A few tasty salads and hot dishes. The desserts are cute in their bite size servings so you can taste everything!

i went for the first time today, and i dont understand why other reviewers were complaining. the seating was prompt, the food fresh, and the selection large. maybe because i went on a weekday for lunch? it was also worth it because it was someones birthday, so they ate free.
Pros: wide selection, fresh food

It's your Birthday, it's on the "House". But there is a catch. They will ruin your Birthday celebration by having to pay for your own meal because my friend was unable to accompanied. Critique of the Food: if it is the first time to experience Asian foods then okay, however don't waste your time or money if you already have a taste and love for Asian foods. "Wasabi" not fresh. There are other competitors out there that will serve you well.

It was a good sushi and other foods too. I had a free dinner because of my birthday. I am creazy about sushi but my husband don't but he likes it because still so many foods he can eat. It was great dinner.

I have been to the Redmond Todai 3 times over the last year, they have gotten worse with each visit. The first time I went there I was very impressed, the sushi chefs seemed professional and very good. But the next time I went there it was for lunch, and it was definately subpar, the sushi chefs themselves did not seem to be on top of their game and I was not impressed with the sushi or the hot food. I chalked this lower quality up to being the slower weekday lunch period. My third visit I went for dinner, and it was even worse than before, the sushi was edible, that is about the best i can say for it. Maybe still worth it if it was in the $12 -$15 range, but for $25 bucks, it is a big rip off. I doubt I will go back again.
Pros: Variety of Sushi
Cons: low quality
