Cowgirls is probably great if you're on a date with a trashy girl trying to be hip or so drunk that it is your best chance at seeing extra cleavage. Some of the previous positive reviews are obviously from the staff and should be discounted. The random girls on the bar have the same vacant look as strippers without the follow through. The bouncers have never been rude to me personally but they act like they are itching for confrontation. I work across the street and they look at anyone walking by like they are going to be trouble. Even though it is advertised as a fun loving trashy joint, the early evening bartenders act like they are to good for it.

Pros: Close enough to Pioneer Square to be hip...

I hate Portland but at least there are bars where you can watch the game while being surrounded by half clothed girls. You can also skip the drive by just going to the U District if you want to go to a frat party. The girls have gotten so much attention for dancing around that they think they are pretty enough to have bad attitudes. When going to the bar I recommend saying the following: "I'm not flirting I just want a beer"

The bouncers at Cowgirls are nasty. They look for reasons to harass you, and get physical very quickly. After being harassed by the bouncers, I stayed because I was with friends, but I was on guard the whole time I was there and did not enjoy my experience. I thought maybe this was a one-time bad night, and gave them a second try. Similar experience, but the punishment was only verbal this time. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a good time to stay away from this place.

MY NEPHEW AND HIS FRIENDS CAME FOR SPRING BREAK TO SEATTLE THEY ASKED WHERE WE SHOULD GO.... I SAID THERE IS ONLY ONE PLACE..COWGIRLS !!!!!!! THE GIRLS WHERE GORGEOUS !!!!! The guy who posted below must have been kicked out by security, and is obviously bitter! Go ahead buddy...write a bad review. Like its their fault that you can't hold your booze! Cowgirls is great....but anyone with an attitude like the one below, stay away, the bartenders will eat you alive.

It is a wonder this place is still in business. Yes, the girls dance on the bar but most are fuglier than any strip club. I watched one girl get up on the bar while a guy took pictures up her skirt (nothing on) but she was really disgusting to look at. I was surprised the bouncers sat back and did nothing. Oh, did I mention this place is a sausagefest? If there are any women in this bar, they are fat chicks from the southend that probably stumbled over from Tiki Bobs. This club is the worst of the Pioneer Square scene. Avoid if you are a straight guy.

Pros: Exit out the front

One of the best bars I’ve ever been to. The girls dancing on the bar were extremely hot, and they give the place a great atmosphere. The drinks were pricey but good and the service at the bar was outstanding. I’m a good tipper, but even considering that, the gorgeous bartender seemed to be able to read my mind. She wasn’t overly friendly, but very fast and professional....just the way I like it. The bar has a strong "coyote ugly" theme, but it’s much less produced and choreographed than at Coyote Ugly. (no bar chick playing the "tough girl" part on stage). Female guests are allowed and invited to dance on the bar, and some of the best looking girls up there were guests. Nobody used the mechanicalbull while I was there and it wasn’t a country crowd at all. I was there on a Saturday night and the crowd was outstanding. Male and female numbers were about even. It was a fairly good mix of 20 something partyers and 30 something business types, all having a great time. I was a lone 30’s male on business and I ended up hanging out with a frat guy with tattoos, a marine in uniform, a black couple attending the Seahawks game, and an attractive 40 year old and her two beautiful daughters; certainly one of the most mixed groups I’ve ever been in. It was packed enough to be fun but not too crowded, and the mostly classic rock music mix was great to dance to. I was having such a great time that I was really shocked when 2am rolled around and the place closed. I will definitely be going back.

Pros: Great Atmosphere, Great Crowd, Great looking Women

Honestly people with negative attitudes.... get a life. Its a bar in Pioneer Square, Everywhere in the square has higher priced drinks, and the cover is only $5.00 for dudes,. chicks are ALWAYS FREE!!! On thursdays, the women out number the men and everyone is friendly. Whoever got crappy service, they wee probably @ssholes. You would love to work in an environment where you have thye right to treat people like you want to be treated. If the customer is nice, then the bartenders are nice. If your a di@k, then they can be di@ks. Go in there with a great attitude and you'll get great service. They also have Happy Hour tues - fri 5-7 $2 Appetizers, $2.50 Domestic Drafts, $3.00 Wells. Lots of business parties are held here and they have a blast. The girls are not strippers. No one tries to give you a lap dance so get over yourself. COWGIRLS INC. is a bar with great looking women and a fun atmosphere!!! If your in Seattle, check it out Thursdays, for ladies night, and Fridays and Saturdays for Top 40s dance music. Don't listen to the negative talkers, they probably couldn't get any so they're just hating.

Perhaps I went to this bar expecting too much. After all, you hear ads all the time on the radio and they are the self proclaimed "Coyote Ugly" of Seattle. However, I must say that I was disappointed. The service was, at best, terrible and it wasn't even busy when I was there. The drinks were overpriced and the place just feels dirty. The bartenders are above average girls, but most girl bartenders are above average girls. They certainly were nothing spectacular. If you're looking for the true "Coyote Ugly" experience, stay away from this place. You're better off renting the movie and getting drunk at home.

Cowgirls Inc. is just not worth it. I've been there a few different times and was disappointed each time. The cover is too much, the beers are too expensive (if you can actually GET one), the service is AWFUL, it gets WAY too crowded, and other reviewers on this site are right, the bouncers are ridiculous. If you MUST go, go early on a weeknight, weekends are just meat markets where there's no room to even move. The only plus is that, yes, the girls are pretty hot, and they use that to make money, not unlike strippers. Careful though guys, other than the bartenders, there are WAY more guys there than women. Just a heads up.

Pros: Cute Bartender Girls

Cons: Overly Crowded, Poor Service, Expensive Drinks
