These guys are great! I don't understand why, if any people complain on these reviews.?? Go figure high maintenance dog owners. First of all Petdaddy's staff is highly trained and they are honest about the grooming cuts and what is appropriate for the dog's health. Secondly go somewhere else where they charge you $100.00 for a haircut. Compare that to $45.-$55.00 at Petdaddy where the place is clean and safe. When I say safe they DON'T use caged self dryers which could do harm to your dog. They make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible. Plus they go out of their way to make sure your dog is returned to you within 3 hours. I don't want my dog hanging out all day in a grooming place. The only thing I would say that needs improvement is that it's getting harder to get an appointment right away. I guess that is to be expected since they are such in demand. If you want your ideal appointment you better book it at least a week in advanced. Oh another plus with these guys is that they only carry the healthy pet food. They are not carrying every brand and claiming it's healthy. I get Solid Gold over there and I have already got a discount on one of their promotions.
Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, affordable prices, honest about grooming services and their pet food
Cons: Hard to get same day appointments

I used Pet Daddy to cut my puppy's hair. They did an OK job but her hair was super short when I got her back. My advice to anyone who goes to them is the make sure you are explicit about what you want. I think had I done so I wouldn't have had to wait so long for my pup to return to looking normal!
Pros: fit me in when I was in a pinch
Cons: need to be explicit about how the groomer should cut your dog's hair

Pet Daddy has a very nice staff and it doesn't smell like a lot of groomers do. They are inexpensive, however both times I have taken my dog there I haven't been fully satisfied. The first time his hair was cut uneven nd they forgot to cut some of his toenails. The second time his bottom smelled like fish (obviously they didn't wash him good enough afer expressing his glands) and both times he still had eye boogers. Overall, I probably won't return.

Pet Daddy does a good job. They are efficient, friendly (most of them), and the place is clean too, which - if you've shopped around - is difficult to find. My only problem is that it's impossible to get an appointment last minute and you need to make reservations a week in advance! I think they are a little under staffed and should be open longer hours. Sometimes my dog comes back still pretty damp and I think it's because they need to rush because they are so busy. Otherwise they do a great job and it's perfect to drop your dog off after walking around Greenlake and grabbing lunch with a friend while you wait.
Pros: clean, location
Cons: hours (don't open until 11), busy, hard to get an appointment

I have tried a lot of grooming places and this is by far the best deal and best service I have found. They are EXTREMELY affordable and do a wonderful job for the price. Will definitely use them again!
Pros: Price and scheduling

I bring my Bernese Mt. Dog in to Pet Daddy and they always do a great job for a very reasonable price. Plus, they seem to really enjoy their jobs and my dog seems to really enjoy them.

If you are looking for a great, clean spot to get your dog groomed (or to do it yourself) this is the place to go in Seattle! The staff is very helpful and loving to the dogs and the management knows their stuff with regard to products and advice in general. My dog (like most) does not love getting baths, but this is the only place where he is not trembling like crazy upong entering their door! I also like that they don't require the dog to stay there all day or anything (ie in kennels somewhere in back while they wait around) but get them in as soon as you drop off your dog and only keep them an hour or two. They also pay particular attention to each dog's habits or dislikes and they try to make it as pleasant as possible for the pet. The facilities are very clean and the store carries great brands of food and treats. I highly recommend Pet Daddy for either full or self grooming.
Pros: Service, cleanliness, products carried

If you want quality grooming and good customer service, don't take your dog here! Don't be fooled by the big sign outside that says something about winning some award. Our first visit our dogs were supposed to get the works, which cost $45/each. When we picked them, we realized they had only been bathed with hair dried only on the top, which left every other part of their body with knots and tangles. After we brought them home we realized they did not clip their nails (even lied about it when I asked), clean their ears, or groom in specific areas we asked (ie: behind the ears). When I called to discuss this with the person who calls herself co-owner she said "what do you want me do, apologize?" I'm thinking, yes! She did offer to have the dogs re-done to make things right. I brought them back, because I'm fair and wanted to give them a second chance. They ended up shaving one of our dogs unevenly! all over with the exception of the head. So, we ended up with a short-haired dog with a head full of hair --- this apparently was their best groomer who did this. Our other pet look untouched. This business, it's owners and workers that I met, I think are immature when it comes to running a business and don't have the skills needed to have a grooming business. One positive thing I can say about this business is the do-it-yourself bathing and grooming areas look clean and are a good size.
Pros: Clean, the do-it-yourself stalls looked good
Cons: Grooming service horrible, very inmature management, poor customer service

The people over at PETDADDY did an awesome job with my dog. They were so attentive and professional considering my dog was over anxious of getting his haircut. I highly reccomend PETDADDY for the great groom with a great price. $30.00. I'm going to get the FURminator next time for an extra $15.00. My friend who also goes to PETDADDY had the FURminator done on her dog and she has seen the shedding decrease. Also PETDADDY carries great dog products like most of the healthy dog foods, treats and cool unique collars and toys.
Pros: Great service, great price. One stop shop for my dogs needs, grooming

After reading such a great review from a fellow citysearcher I was eager to try this place out. I will admit it was very easy to get an appointment, but you are better off waiting a few days to get in somewhere else. My dog was there less than an hour, which made me wonder how much time and attention was actually given to her. At home I noticed that the hair on her head hadn't even been cut and there were several knots in her ears, so it hadn't been combed either! Upon further inspection I saw irregular cutting at patches where hair was longer than others. The staff was very nice, but I like my dog to look great after a grooming, not need another one!
Pros: Scheduling, Price
Cons: Bad grooming job
