Maher is the 21st Century Lenin. Opium is still great for the masses, especially those who are Alaskan with their heads deep in the snow.
Pros: Great for those willing to think outside the box
Cons: Awful for those stuck inside the box

Religulous was very well done. It did its best to be respectful of others, but it was still a howl. Well worth seeing.

Bill may think he has the answers, and indeed he does expose some nut cases. However, the underlying tone is that ANYONE who believes in a religion, to any degree, is stupid. His show on HBO often shows his presumed superiorty over any of jis guests that hold a religious belief. While I do not want to convert Bill to any religion, he has his right to his opinions as much as we do, I did not like the overtones in this movie. It reminds me of the many movies that poke fun at the expense of the handicapped. But I guess that is how Bill sees anyone who does not agree completely with his ideas. Doesn't that sound like a religion to you?

Mr. Mahr is the only comedian in this country who has the voice, and the round objects between his legs to express the horror so many of us feel in face of the religuos fanaticism that is rearing it's head in this country and around the world. Go see this movie, weather you're a liberal, or a bible thumper. Go with an open mind, and be ready to realize how dangerous it is to even think that you know what God thinks, (or that there even is a God), and that your God is more right than the other person's. Go and wake up!
